Rebekah Gross lives in New York City with her husband Doug and her two children, Atalanta, 4, and Jonah, six months. She is practicing gastroenterology at NYU with a focus on women’s health. Anita Karne lives in New Haven and works at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a part-time hospitalist and part-time primary care physician. She is married and has two boys, ages 4 and 2. Melissa Knauert-Brown continues her training at Yale-New Haven Hospital where she is a pulmonary/critical care fellow. She is married to Nate Brown and has two children, Peyton, 2, and Madeline, six months. Vivek Murthy spends most of his time working at Doctors for America, a grassroots organization of physicians and medical students. He also enjoys practicing medicine as a part-time hospitalist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Recently, Vivek has been co-chairing President Obama’s 2012 Health Care Advisory Committee. Vivek notes a recent obsession with water theme parks and looks forward to a trip to Hawaii with family. Vivek would love to hear from his classmates at vhmurthy@gmail.com. Joyce Oen-Hsiao stayed in the New Haven area and works at the Hospital of St. Raphael as an invasive, non-interventional cardiologist. She has a son, 8, and daughter, 6, with whom she enjoys spending her time. She continues to play the piano. Nara Sun lives in New Jersey and works as an emergency room physician in a community hospital affiliated with Thomas Jefferson. She is married to Eon Shin (Class of 2001) and has three children: Ellie, 8, Clara, 5, and Sophie, 2. Nara would love to hear from her classmates at nara.shin@jefferson.edu. Karen Thomas lives in Cambridge, Mass., and works part time as an electrophysiologist at Mt. Auburn Hospital. She is married to Mike Rothenberg and they have three children: Jane, 5, Jake, 2, and newborn Calvin. She would love to hear from classmates at kethomas@bidmc.harvard.edu.

A note from an alumnus not in attendance: Andrew Norden and his wife Pam live in Needham, Mass., with their boys, Eli, 4, and Sam, 2. Andrew is a neuro-oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he also serves as medical director of Dana-Farber’s regional network of satellites and affiliated practices. He was disappointed to miss the reunion to attend the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He hopes that the last 10 years have treated everyone well and would love to hear from former classmates at andrew.norden@gmail.com.
