Alumni returned in June to reconnect with classmates, tour the medical campus, attend alumni talks, and hear from leading scientists.

More than 300 alumni and their guests returned to campus in June to celebrate their reunions. Over three days they shared meals at Marigold’s, in local restaurants, and at the homes of classmates; enjoyed tours of the campus, the Cushing Center, and Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven; heard two distinguished scientists report on their research; enjoyed a talk by Kerry Falvey, author of Medicine at Yale; The First 200 Years; joined in walking tours led by current medical students; and heard a discussion of unusual career paths taken by four alumni.

For those willing to come a few days early, there was a discussion of the history of African-American women at Yale and the annual reunion of the Yale Surgical Society.
