Marie E. Egan

Marie E. Egan, M.D., associate professor of pediatrics (respiratory), has received a 2010 Hartwell Individual Biomedical Research Award for research on cystic fibrosis. The award provides research support for three years at $100,000 direct cost per year, as well as videoconferencing equipment to enable periodic communications with the Hartwell Foundation. Located in Memphis, Tenn, the foundation funds innovative biomedical applied research with potential benefits for children.
