Stephen E. Malawista, M.D., HS ’60, professor of medicine, has been named a Guggenheim Fellow by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Fellows are appointed on the basis of unusually impressive achievement and exceptional promise for future accomplishment. During the current sabbatical year he will study motile function of human white blood cells, in the context of the inflammatory response, at the Hôpital de la Salpêtrière, Paris.
